Radiant lavender fields, rolling landscapes, and one of the largest gorges in Europe: Welcome to Provence.
Provence stretches from the French Alps to the Mediterranean Sea and offers a vibrant mix of relaxation and active holidays.
Particularly worth seeing are typical Provençal villages like Gordes, which picturesquely sits above the Calavon River in the Monts de Vaucluse, or Roussillon, which is among the most beautiful villages in France, dominated by glowing ochre cliffs.
Not far from Gordes is the Abbaye de Sénanque, with its lavender field in front, which is one of the most iconic photo motifs in Provence. Also worth seeing in the Gordes area is the open-air museum Village des Bories – a collection of simple, windowless stone houses believed to have been built in the 17th and 18th centuries and used by shepherds until the early 20th century.
Around the Verdon Gorge and the adjacent turquoise-blue reservoir Lac de Sainte-Croix, water sports fans and lovers of spectacular hikes will find plenty to enjoy. The gorge can be wonderfully explored on foot or by kayak, the lake invites you to go stand-up paddling and windsurfing, and the panoramic road Route des Crêtes offers breathtaking views. The nearby villages like Moustiers-Sainte-Marie or Aups are also worth a visit, especially on market days.
Larger Provençal cities include Aix-en-Provence and Avignon:
Aix-en-Provence is known for its charming old town, thermal springs, and art and music festivals, while Avignon was the seat of the popes in the 14th century and has a rich cultural heritage.

Your Guide to Camping Route Planning
Get in touch with us – ideally through the "Request a Trip" button. There you will find a questionnaire that helps us understand your travel wishes as accurately as possible.
After that, we can arrange a personal phone or a video call to clarify any questions, get to know you and your ideas better, and offer you the best advice. Alternatively, we can answer your questions via email.
If you decide to plan your trip with us, we will start with the planning process after receiving your deposit. We plan your travel route according to your wishes and keep everything as flexible as you want. We will send you the first itinerary proposal as soon as possible.
We will find the perfect camper for you – a suitable model between a mini camper, campervan, or motorhome, depending on your needs. If desired, we can also book campsites and activities for you – as close to nature and consciously as possible, and most importantly, tailored to suit you.
After receiving your feedback on our first proposal, we can make minor adjustments before finalizing the plan. If our travel proposal suits you, we will book everything as discussed, and nothing will stand in the way of your journey.
We provide you with personal consultation before, during, and after your trip. During your journey, you can also use our easy WhatsApp service.
